1.00 (terrible) so boring :/
the story line is awful and a lot of fanservice, what can be worst than this >__>
11eyes could have been a not so bad anime if the plot was executed correctly. While it wasn't the most original, the premise wasn't half-bad either. Instead we get 12 episodes of pointless fan service, kids who have super powers and wanna save their lives
Story:
It was actually hard to find a story within the first half of the show. In fact, it was nothing else than bunch of kids fighting the black knight for whatever reason. You didn't know why they were transported there and why the black knights were trying to kill them and why the red night appears,in the half of the show you will start to understand step by step, the ending was terrible :/

it is about a strong boy(who appears later that he is just an idiot)on his way back from school he saved a girl...and then it appears that the girl is the transfer student in his school, however she called him by his first name and all the students were shocked,
and then it seems that she must marry this boy because her parents told so...it is a romance, school anime
anyways it is a bad show :/

Angel Beats!

10.00 (excellent) first I started watching Angel Beats because of two main reasons: the Graphics, and the main chracters. But once I began watching the show in earnest, I found a lot more here than I expected. Angel Beats is a show about an afterlife,in which group of dead students fight against the Tenshi(angel)and refuse to move on to the next life, because they need to be more independent and they wanna know why they are in afterlife and what is the reason.
the story began with Otonashi(the main character)who wakes to learn that he is already dead,he lost his memory,he only remember his name, they join to the group with the violent girl(Yuri)and fight the Tenshi and to know why he came to this life and how he died.

8.50 (very good) 26 years ago, in a third-year classroom of a middle school, there was a student named Misaki. As an honors student who was also good at sports, the charming girl was popular with her classmates. When she suddenly died, her classmates decided to carry on as if she was still alive until graduation. Then, in the spring of 1998, a boy named Sakakibara Kouichi transfers to the class, and he grows suspicious of the fearful atmosphere in that classroom. In particular, there is a beautiful, aloof girl named Mei Misaki who wears an eyepatch and is always alone drawing pictures.he started to feel curios about her,he tries to talk to her but the classmates don't allow him to do,one day he followed her and find himself in a doll store,he started to talk with her and the classmates started to get angry, suddenly one day a girl who wear glasses ran when she found them talking and slipped in the stairs and died, however from that day the classmates started to ignore Sakakibara and act like he is not in the class with them...

9.25 (very good) one of my fav animes.....I prefer the manga though...but it is still awesome xD
it is about The world consists of two dimensions joined as one, like a mirror. The first is the world in which the humans live, Assiah. The other is the world of demons, Gehenna. Ordinarily, travel between the two, and indeed any kind of contact between the two, is impossible. However the demons can pass over into this world by possessing anything that exist within it. Satan the god of demons, but there's one thing that he doesn't have, and that's a substance in the human world that is powerful enough to contain him!! For that purpose he created Rin, his son from a human woman, but will his son agree to his plans? Or will he become something else...? An exorcist?
it is a shounen anime,a good show

7.00 (above average) so complicated!
Let me explain what I mean in a simple way.

When you watch this anime, make sure you are getting quality subtitles. Because it is completely and utterly character and dialogue driven. The most entertaining, interesting part of all 15 episodes of craziness is the banter and progression between each character. The script is incredibly enjoyable.

However, the enjoyability ends there. Bakemonogatari and I clash on the artistic choices of the producers.
it is a complicated anime...but still a good one

8.25 (good) I can actually make a 3 word summary for this anime. It would go like this : KILL, KILL, KILL.

Heartless killing, endless dying. That pretty much made up the story. Almost every character was just blood thirsty, all except this anime’s Romeo and Juliet, aka Gennosuke and Oboro. It’s another story of forbidden love, I suppose. The forbidden love was a foot note for me – I was more engrossed by the fight scenes and the dramatic deaths of the ninjas.

The concept was actually new to me, but I was able to understand most of it. I was familiar with Samurai – themed anime
however it is a good one!as expected from Gonzo studio!

also the storyline is good
so it is a good show to check it and kill the boring hours ^.^

4.25 (below average) Times are hard, and in these days of global economic crisis and recession more and more people have joined the hunt to find the best bargains. As with anything in life though, experience is what counts, and veterans in the ways of saving money will usually have the upper hand in the war of the aisles. While there are a few young hotshots who have a natural talent for finding a store's bargain products, the truth is that wherever there are discounted groceries, there will undoubtedly be kings and queens who rule over them.

9.00 (very good) I like comedy animes who doesn't? this anime is one of the most comedy animes I ever watched
the art is very good and there are crossover episodes so I like it, the characters are very well done and the voice actors made it even better
there is no bad points about this anime except that it is a short one and they don't focus much on the plot, the rest is fine
I enjoyed watching this anime, I highly recommend it

Last Updated: Jul 04, 2012

6.75 (above average) First of all, to be honest with you all. I did not enjoy this series as much as i thought i would like it mainly because of the plot and how it got fairly rushed in the end.

Story - The beginning part of the story i thought was very well made, it was very dark, mysterious but not scary at all for those who dislike scary storylines. But after a while the plot just seem dull and unoriginal. Typical protagonist trying to save the world, trying to protect his friends and trying to get revenge, all these types of storylines has been overused...but what annoys me that Train(the main character)was a very interested character in the beginning...he didn;t care about anything but after few episodes he became fool who wants to protect his friends and save the world and trying to be a hero...etc....

4.00 (below average) If you have strong feelings about this anime, please don't read any further. I just noticed there was an abnormally large amount of overly positive reviews for this show and thought it would be best if there was a second opinion readily available.

Haganai was not an enjoyable anime for me. I did not find it funny past a certain point. For the first three episodes the show revolves around the mistaken delinquent and the two "heroines" of the series - Yozora and Sena. These episodes for the most part were quite sharp, and as Sena and Yozora's antics grew and grew,
it is a show about making friends, but they don't know how...however those moments when Sena and Yozora fight each others...really annoys me,and it was a pointless show in the end,it was so boring,so it didn't really interested me

8.25 (good) I enjoyed every episode of this anime, it interested me because I like survival theme especially in anime and manga
all the episodes are well done and it is like chains, you can't miss one episode because if you do then the whole chains will break
I can say that it is my 2012 favorite anime, I finished it in one day because I couldn't wait to see what will happen to them
the art is not that good there are some episodes with good arts and some episodes are not but the plot will definitely take your attention
the big problem that this anime is too short for survival theme anime, 12 episodes are not enough there are some points who are still unclear and they didn't bother themselves to explain it properly and the ending will make you dizzy and confused just like me
but it is still a good anime to watch if you like action and violence genres

Canaan

Last Updated: Jul 04, 2012

8.25 (good) To tell you the truth, I had no interest in CANAAN at all. That all changed when at a local con, they decided to show CANAAN's Opening. Solely from that, my interest in it grew and with it, I set out to find the promised land, CANAAN.

Now let me begin with the story. First of all, it is by no means badly paced. No doubt, it was written in the anime description itself that anime was about all walks of life pulled together by a global conspiracy. A conspiracy in which only start to come together as the story progresses. You'll not figure out everything from the start and by the end, most if not all your questions will be answered. For some it may start off slow, but to tell you the truth, starting up like a Hong Kong action movie (set in Shanghai) is anything but slow. The progression as the action ramps up and the mysteries answered is just perfect, leaving me quite satisfied with the ending. However, they did slip up a bit. The transition is jarring by segregating the last mini arc with Alphard before the conclusion but after the mystery was solved.

8.25 (good) In our world, human relationships are the keys to happiness , but there are times when not everyone can open their door. We often fall into despair and isolate ourselves from the reality of their world when our key is nowhere to be found. It is at these times when we need the support of others to guide us through our hardships and reassure us of our place within society. In society, our families are integral in providing us with the proper support that we need when our lives take a turn for the worst. Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with the miraculous support of their families. Individuals living in a dysfunctional family often fall into a state of frustration and anger; unable to maintain proper stability in their lives. While family members are irreplaceable, their roles are not. Sometimes we need our friends to fill the roles of a family in order to provide us with the necessary support.

Darker than Black

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: Jul 04, 2012

9.50 (excellent) Ah, the age old question; what to do when certain people suddenly begin manifesting mysterious superpowers. Darker than BLACK responds with a classic solution found in series ranging from Witch Hunter Robin to X-Men: Form secret organizations to monitor and control these people. However, despite the similar theme, this show is anything but derivative.

In the beginning of the series, the premise of the show is somewhat vague as little is known about where the powers of the contractors come from, or how they are related to the gates. As the series progresses more information is inevitably revealed, creating good plot exposition and allowing the story to move at a decent pace and keep each episode interesting. Where this series really shines however, is the characters.

Hei is portrayed brilliantly, having a rather comicbook superhero-like persona but adding a unique spin to it. His motives are not initially apparent, nor is his true relationship with the syndicate to which he belongs. Also, while contractors are known to be emotionless and purely rational, Hei somehow manages to retain his humanity, an anomaly which many of his acquaintances and opponents comment on. The true reason for this, as well as the origin of his powers remains hidden until the end of the series.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: Jul 04, 2012

1.00 (terrible) I hate Shaft, I really hate this studio. For every good show they make, there must be some 5 mediocre ones in between. However, I still love their artsy touch and the way they handle most dialogues that is much present in Denpa Onna. Yet, there’s something lacking in Denpa Onna to make it good and that is a focus. It’s a shame really, because this anime had such a great start. I find it sad that they had to ruin it in the second half.

Based on a light novel, the story shares some similiraties with the Haruhi Suzumiya. Most notably, the two main characters, which both have the same personality, are emerged in a world of bizarre situations. The difference is that Denpa Onna is completely voided of any supernatural element, even though it brings aliens and espers in the foreplay. Though the story could be considered as some sort of coming of age, it is never clear what it is really about. The big problem with Denpa Onna is how well it handles the many elements that it is given, for I must say, not well at all. While it does begin as a simple story of “saving the broken girl”, it doesn’t take time before the series loses its initial charm. For the second half, the anime turns around in a midst of pointless moments that can range from enjoyable to plain boring. Though, these pointless moments, are for the best, emotional. The results here shouldn’t be surprising. Denpa Onna concludes in a unsatisfying and completely out of place way that leaves you a bitter taste in the end. In other word, what it needs is a satisfying sequel with a much, much better direction.
however it is one of the most boring anime I ever saw......don't watch it,you will not regret it!

Dog Days

Seen: completely; Own: completely;

Last Updated: Jul 04, 2012

2.50 (poor) On a personal note, I had quite high hopes for this show. With a good amount of successful anime stemming from being original anime series, Dog Days, having that element, combined with having an excellent seiyuu cast and being animated and directed by the staff from the animation studio Seven Arcs, seemed highly promising to deliver a successful show. However for the most part they did not.

Story and Setting

Dog Days is a 13 episode original series which revolves around a boy called Cinque or Shinku who is transported into a medieval fantasy land called Flonyard as a hero of the country Biscotti, to fight against the nation of Gallette. From this premise, it was possible for the show to develop into something complex, but the setting of the show, being light-hearted in a manner suiting children, nullified most prospects of there being any serious conflicts or development from the get-go. As viewers will soon discover in Episode 1, war between nations is almost perfectly safe, with inhabitants either turning into animal fluff-balls or having their clothes blown off, a somewhat hilarious foil to the seriousness of actual warfare. However, this is not to say that Dog Days is a show completely suited to children. Seven Arcs being Seven Arcs, there are traces of fanservice here and there and a darkish twist when the 'villain' emerges.

Last Updated: May 12, 2013

8.00 (good) Fairy Tail is one of the popular shows these days and indeed it is a very interesting anime/manga about super powers and magic
there are some extra funny episodes after every serious event , it will make you finish the events and look forward to the new extra episodes.first of all this anime has some good action fights but there are too many fanservice scenes and this will make you bored and mad at the same time, I mean seriously! I'm watching an action anime and what I want is epic fights and awesomeness not fanservices and pointless ecchi scenes, if I want to watch a fanservice anime then there are alot of animes like that everywhere so there is no need for fanservice in this anime
second and the most important failure in this anime is the "nakama" power and everything is "nakama" and "nakama" and this sounds like an anime for children. " I fight for my nakama" " I will die in order to protect my nakamas" etc... it will make you annoyed episode after episode, the enemy is far way stronger than the main characters but as long as they have "nakama" the power will come to them from no where and make them stronger and stronger! is there any rules like this? the answer is no, the real rule is " the strong person wins, the weak person loses " but you won't see this rule in this anime since this anime makes the main characters win no matter who their opponent is

8.25 (good) Fruits Basket is a wonderful and moving story which I consider myself fortunate enough to have been shown by a very close friend. This anime is so amazing it touch upon the strings of my heart. I laughed, I cried, and I truely felt for each of the characters.

The anime is centered around a young girl by the name of Tohru Honda, an amazing high school girl who is kind and honest. At the start of the anime she is still struggling to survive after her mothers tragic death. She is taken into the house hold of the cursed family, the Sohma's.

Animation

Is decently done, it is done beautifully but the main attraction of this anime is not the art but rather the story and the characters.

Ga-rei

Last Updated: Jul 04, 2012

9.75 (excellent) *Powerful opening episode plus a strong ending makes Ga-Rei Zero a definite must see for action fans.*

“Will you kill someone you love because of love?”

Those who have already seen Ga-Rei Zero (GRZ) are probably sick of reading the quote above, but it is nonetheless an effective quote to advertise for GRZ. I still remember what initially caught my interest in GRZ, it was the amazing trailer. Boy, how misleading it was …

Don’t get me wrong, Ga-Rei Zero is quite fabulous indeed. The synopsis may sound generic, but the technique used to present the story that will eventually lead into Ga-Rei (manga) is what makes this gem a success in this recessional era. The excitement level of GRZ can be described by a simple parabolic function (think of the letter “U”), though the initial point stands out a lot more than the ending. This is analogous to say you drop a ball from great height and watch it fall down and slowly climb back up. But no matter how hard it tries, in the end it cannot go back to the initial height.
